International student teams in Geiranger

International students spent a week in Geiranger October 2022 to ideate on sustainable, lievable, beautiful and inclusive development in Ålesund and Geiranger.



As part of the NTNU course Data-Driven Co-Creation, five international student teams spent a week in Ålesund and Geiranger to conduct field work in exploring ideas for sustainable local development. Two student teams had a week-long field trip in Geiranger to work together with the Geirangerfjord World Heritage Center and Stranda municipality. Both teams developed ideas for attracting new residents and visitors in offering year-long living spaces and activities. Final presentations were held in the Fjord Centre auditorium included, and ideas for a "Tiny Village" and an "International reserach center" in Geiranger.
